Star Products (Pty) Ltd was established in 1971, manufacturing high protein soup powders, soya mince products, vitamin C enriched cooldrink powders, chocolate drinks, custards, jellies, milk blends and various food powders for the catering industry.
SOUP POWDERS We have four ranges of soup powders each consisting of approximately six different flavours. These soups range from the high quality to the relatively cheap type that is of high protein which is suitable for the institutional market, such as department of health, military and prisons. We also manufacture soup which is packed in cartons, ideal for wholesale and retail stores. SOYA MINCE PRODUCTS These products have become very popular as a meat replacer because of the high cost of fresh meat. This product also contains dehydrated vegetables to make it a complete meal. These products are available in bulk and pre-pack. COOLDRINK POWDERS Our cooldrink powders are sugar-based and contain vitamin C. These products have been very successful in feeding schemes and can be packed for the retail market. A variety of flavours are available. We have recently launched a concentrated powdered juice (100g - 25 litres water). MILK BLENDS We manufacture milk blends and real dairy milk powders. A variety of blends can be manufactured depending on price requirements. CUSTARD AND JELLY These products are suitable for hospitals and boarding schools. The jellies are available in various flavours. A variety of instant puddings is also available. COCOA STAR - CHOCOLATE BEVERAGE This product contains milk powder, cocoa powder and sugar; so water is the only additive needed. Star Products also manufacture gravy powders, concentrates, curry powders, etc should you require these products. As mentioned previously, Star Products is an established business.
